Keto Bacon and Shrimp Chowder

Christopher said this soup was so yummy, “Tell the Community I said it was outstanding!” Ha! He’s never said to say something to the Community before! So this is a Christopher-approved recipe!

The turnips make the soup and taste just like potatoes. Christopher thought they were potatoes! (Now that’s not going to happen, what was he even thinking? 😃) It’s a pretty large bowl for 13 carbs, so there are ways around the carbs in the turnips. You could stretch it with more chicken broth, use fewer turnips, substitute the turnips with cauliflower or roasted radishes, or do half turnips and half another veggie; I think zucchini would be excellent, mushrooms would be good, or watch your macros for your other one, or two meals so this one will work. Have one meal for the day: bacon and eggs. It can be done!👍


Gosh, I put a lot of tartar sauce on that slider! It oozed out! It was really good, though.😀
