Corn Dog Chaffle

Shared by DeniseM

This chaffle is good and has a kind of cornbread texture. You can fold it in half and use a hot dog bun or cut it up, add it to the top of the batter, and cook it all together. Then dip in sugar-free ketchup or mustard.

Corn Dog Chaffle

4 Tablespoons Cheddar Cheese

1 egg

3 Tablespoons Melted Butter

1/2 cup Almond Flour

1/2 teaspoon sweetener of choice

1 teaspoon baking powder

Mix to form a batter. Sprinkle a little cheese directly in the waffle maker, top with half the batter then sprinkle with a little more cheese. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes so it will get crispy. You can fold it in half to use as a hot dog bun or cut a hot dog on top of the batter then add more cheese. Dip in sugar-free ketchup.
