I was experimenting with the amazing Fox Hill Kitchens Bread Mix, and my mind was spinning, thinking of all the great things I could make with this keto bread dough. I had already made a pizza crust, Pigs in a Blanket, and sandwich rolls, so what to do next? I had made hamburger buns and thought, what about some hot dog buns? Then I took it a step further and thought about cheesesteak buns!
Every good cheesesteak needs a great roll, and with Fox Hill Kitchens' AMAZING Bread Mix, I was able to make the perfect bun! I made two buns, each about 8 to 9 carbs.

Here’s the great Bread Mix recipe that can be used to make so many things!
The recipe I used for the steak, peppers, and onions came from Natasha's Kitchen. And, the added sliced jalapeños are certainly optional.
After the rolls are baked and cooled, I spread them with garlic aioli from this recipe. Aren’t they cute little mini hoagie rolls?
I first cooked the sliced and seasoned rib eye and removed it from the pan.
Then added the peppers, onion, and sliced jalapeño. to the pan and coo until tender, but not mushy. Then add the steak back in. Try not to overlook the steak, unless you like it that, but I’m sorry we can’t be friends! Ha! I just have this pet peeve about overcooked meat!
Then cover with sliced provolone and let get melty and serve on top of your keto roll of choice.
This came out super delicious!
I served these super yummy cheesesteaks with Cream of Chayote Soup and Pigs in a Blanket Jalapeño Poppers.
