Keto French Dip Sliders

Shared by DeniseM

I need a moment of silence to reflect on how good these Roast Beef French Dip Sliders were! Ha! They just were so yummy! I made a few modifications to the Delish recipe. Instead of the Hawaiian rolls, I used 6 of these great dinner rolls by Cast Iron Keto. They are my all-time favorite Keto rolls. I’ve made several different sliders with them.

Next, instead of the French Fried Onions, I caramelized some onion in a couple of tablespoons of butter and sprinkled it with some seasoning salt. Then I tried to find an Au jus mix to use and finally gave up and made my own one. There are too many wonky ingredients in the prepared mixes! To make the Au jus, I just added some beef broth and a couple of beef bouillon cubes. We should have some of those, right? 😀 I then added several shakes of Worcestershire sauce, onion, and garlic powder and reduced it slightly. I also made it in the pan I used to caramelize the onions, which probably didn’t hurt!

Here is a photo that shows the order, clockwise from the top right, that I did to make these. I added a cheese layer and some Everything Bagel Seasoning to the mixture that gets brushed on top of the rolls before baking. These were so good, but I don’t have an exact carb count. I’m thinking around 8-9 carbs apiece. I only ate two; it was my only meal, so it worked fine, but just watch the carbs on these and carefully plan your macros. They were very filling, so maybe just one would work with a salad, also.

I hope you will try these. It was like eating a carby slider!😊
