Gotta Have a Chaffle Maker

As an Amazon Associate, I share affiliate marketing strategies with awesome people like you. Naturally, my content may contain affiliate links for products I use and love. It's hard to imagine my keto life before chaffles! Chaffles came on the scene a few years ago and for those eating keto/low carb, it was life-changing. Finally, there was an easy way to have a delicious bread substitute for sandwiches, snacks, desserts, and so many other things, and it doesn’t involve wheat or carbs!

A chaffle, in its original most basic form, is cheese + egg = a chaffle. The first recipe was 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese mixed with one beaten egg. I wonder who invented it? I've never seen who that is! This is a great way to start chaffling!

Use chaffles for cold sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, cheesesteaks, whatever you like! Also, make dessert chaffles! Explore all the chaffle recipes to get lots of yummy chaffle ideas!

This is a photo of the first Mini Dash Waffle Maker that I bought back in 2018! It's a great first chaffle maker, but there are many other variations to choose from, and I'll be writing about those, too! I love collecting these Dash Minis in all sorts of cute, different shapes. I just saw a Texas-shaped one! Kids love them, too!

So Chaffle onward! Have fun!

Here is a link on Amazon to see a Dash Mini. Very inexpensive and has lots of colors to choose from.

Breakfast Sandwich made with the basic chaffle recipe

Doesn’t this look good? McDonald’s eat your heart out! This is a very yummy, very low carb Breakfast Sandwich made with the basic chaffle recipe of 1/2 cup mozzarella with one egg. That recipe makes two chaffles, then add a sausage patty or bacon, a scrambled or fried egg, and a slice of cheese! Go to the chaffles section for lots more chaffle recipes. 🧇

I'm a beginner. Mine never look like an actual waffle as depicted in the photo. Would fine shredded cheese be a better choice than regular shred? Mine are also rubbery. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Don’t despair, you will find a good recipe that works I promise. I think finely shredded would be better, also one with less cheese, in fact you might like one without cheese like The pWonderbread Chaffle. The recipe is in this post for a grilled cheese chaffle.

If you like crispy, this very crispy chaffle by the Keto Twins is a favorite of mine. See if you might like this one.

if these two don’t work we will keep trying until we find the perfect one for you! 😊

Chaffe On! And thanks for writing!
