I had some rib-eye steak left over and was looking for a recipe using a spicy butter sauce on top. Even though this recipe says to use flank steak (which I think would be very flavorful), I decided to try it with my rib-eye!
I subbed the honey with Allulose honey, but I think you could use a little liquid stevia or other sweetener, which would be just as good. I used some Crunchy Garlic for the garlic, which is just so good. It's a little pricey, but getting the great flavor doesn’t take much. I‘ve used it in so many things, like stir fry, eggs, and sauces, and it adds a lot more flavor because it has some chili oil.
I served this great steak with jalapeño flavored mashed cauliflower, jalapeño poppers, cucumber slices, ranch dressing, Tajin, and chili lime seasoning. It was a super delicious spicy meal! 🌶️
I took the life-changing Cauliflower Mash a la George and changed it up a bit to make a spicer version that I liked a lot, but I think jalapeños should be added to everything! It’s Cauliflower Mash a la Jorge! Just a little keto humor. 😂
Here’s the Allulose Honey I used. I don’t think it tastes like honey very much, but it works, adding sweetness to things when you need it. 🐝
This is the very yummy Crunchy Garlic! I’m probably on about jar 25! 😳 It has a couple of wonky ingredients, but using such a small amount of flavor makes it worth it. You can also use plain garlic in this recipe, which would be very good. 🧄
