Nuts are my Achilles Heel! Nuts call my name and torture me! Nuts have too many carbs, BUT not Pili Nuts! Oh no, they are the nice nut and only have ONE carb per ounce!😲 They will not torture you! If they do, the Pili Nut Association of America wants to know about it and take action! 👮♀️
I can control Pili nuts much better, and even if I didn’t, at less than two carbs for the entire bag, you can’t do much damage. They are a little different, and I think they have a bit of an acquired taste, but I have always liked them! So be sure to give them a good chance. I love all the different flavors they come in. I’m giving you the link to a variety pack, that way you can see if there is a flavor or two that you like the best then you could order those separately.
The texture is softer and more buttery than the nuts you use most. I would say the closest in texture would be a pine nut. If you don’t have an aversion to pine nuts, I think you will like these, and they make a great, extremely low-carb snack. They can be ground into nut butter, added when making pesto, or just anytime some nuts would be good.
They are considered a superfood because they contain many vitamins and minerals!
