Keto Chorizo Smash Tacos

This recipe takes the viral smash burger to the next level. If you’ve made smash burgers before, then you’ll understand the concept of this flavor-packed chorizo taco recipe. These tacos were super yummy and very quick and easy to make.


First make the Fox Hill Kitchens tortillas at 2.5 carbs apiece or use the low carb tortilla of your choice. Go here for how to make them.





Either make the chorizo or buy it I made sure the entire tortilla was covered, edge to edge, because the chorizo shrinks quite a bit


Then fry first the chorizo side down and smash it a couple of times with a spatula to really press the chorizo into the tortilla. After about 3-4 minutes flip the tortillas and cook for another minute or so.


When done, top with quacamole, then all the other toppings like the pickled onions, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, and cortija cheese.




You can make your own chorizo per the recipe or use ready-made chorizo. This San Luis brand is very good and has good ingredients. I buy this at Walmart.
