Keto Tik Tok Egg Boil

Shared by DeniseM

Everyone has probably heard of a seafood boil, but have you heard od an egg boil? This method of cooking eggs this way was certainly new to me, but this is the latest viral recipe on Tik Tok and eggs are boiling all over the place!

Not exactly the most attractive egg dish, but it certainly tasted good. So just close your eyes when you’re eating it. 😃 I’m kidding!

I saw a few different variations, but they all were fairly similar so any of the recipes would be very good I think. Some seem to be a little spicer than others so if you don’t like spicy just keep looking and there will be a less spicy one.

I decided on this recipe by stylishcravings.com because I do like spicy. These eggs will get you going in the morning that’s for sure!

I also decided to add some andouille sausage. This is the brand I bought at Walmart.

So let’s make these yummy eggs! This recipe is actually very quick and easy, especially if you buy the hard boiled eggs ready made like I did! I dislike peeling hard boiled eggs so much! I have never mastered any of the hard boiled egg peeling hacks. None!

Ingredients Needed

6 Peeled Hard Boiled Eggs

  • 3 tbsp Butter

  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic

  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth

  • Juice from 1/2 Lemon

  • 2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Oregano

  • 2 tsp Sriracha

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

  • 2 tsp Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute

  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

I first cooked the andouille sausage.

I removed the sausage from the pan and then just added the butter and all the rest of the ingredients and cooked it for a couple of minutes.

Then I added the eggs and cooked everything for about 5 minutes. This sauce is so good and would be excellent on chicken or anything else you can think of. (I think I added a bit more chicken broth to make more sauce, the sauce cooked down quite a bit) I served it garnished with parsley.

Here’s the printed recipe and also where to see it online.
