Korean Bulgogi with Cucumber Kimchi Salad

Shared by DeniseM

I saw Joanna Gaines make this on her cooking show The Magnolia Table and just had to ketofy it, and it came out AMAZING! There are so many great flavors! The cucumber salad is just perfect with it, too!

The only thing I did to the recipes was switch the brown sugar out with brown sugar Monk Fruit. I did three heaping tablespoons, and I don’t think you have to count many of the carbs in it because most of the marinade is still left in the bowl. I put the meat in my air fryer/grill because I didn’t want it to get steamed in the marinade. I wanted it to be crispy and grilled. I toasted the sesame seeds to give them a little more flavor.

The cucumber salad was delicious, and I used the gochujang/gochugaru flakes for the first time. They are a Korean red pepper flake, but they are very tiny. I subbed the sugar out with a teaspoon of the brown sugar Monk Fruit again.

I made cauliflower rice and put more gochujang, garlic powder, butter and seasoning salt and pepper to make it have a little more flavor and that worked out great!

So, if you like Asian flavors, give this a try! Make the recipe.
