Keto Mahi Mahi in Lemon Garlic Cream Sauce 🐟🍋

Here is my take on Carlsbad Cravings Mahi Mahi recipe. It was a super delicious recipe! However, I did have to make substitutions to create a keto version. If you dislike Mahi Mahi, any other white fish filet will work.


I subbed the flour in the spice rub with coconut flour. You do have to watch frying with coconut flour as it can burn very quickly. I put the heat down to medium and only fried on each side for a couple of minutes. Depending on the depth of your filet, you might need to finish cooking the fish in the air fryer or oven for a few minutes.


I also did not use the cornstarch but used a little more heavy cream, about a cup, and only about 3/4 of a cup of chicken broth. You can also thicken with minimal xanthan gum if you don’t want to add extra cream. I served this with roasted asparagus and Caesar salad.
