Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

Who needs a roll with these yummy peppers?



1 Ib bottom round steak, thinly sliced

2 bell peppers

Additional bell peppers, sliced thinly

Red Onion, sliced thinly

White Onion, sliced thinly

Pickled Jalapefios, chopped

1/2 Ibs Monterey Jack Cheese shredded

Trader Joe's onion salt

Sea salt

Pepper


Directions

Pre-heat over 350 degrees

Cut bell peppers in half and core them

Drizzle avocado oil on them and bake for 17-20 mins


  1. Preheat a large frying pan to medium-high and add olive/avocado oil

  2. Season steak with onion salt, pepper, and sea salt.

  3. Sear each side of the steak for about 1-2 minutes and pull it off to let rest for a couple of minutes.

  4. Cut steak into small 1/4"-3/8" square pieces

  5. Preheat the frying pan to medium and add avocado/olive oil

  6. Once the pan is warm add thinly sliced onions and bell peppers to the pan and cook while stirring often for about 10 mins

  7. Mix Steak, cheese, bell peppers, onions and jalapenos in a bowl

  8. Fill bell peppers

  9. Bake 10 more minutes until the cheese is melted
