I saw these dumplings and just had to make them! I have made Won Ton with carby wrappers before, but this recipe with Crazy Keto Dough intrigued me. I was a little worried I couldn’t make the dumplings as pretty as the recipe, but it was very easy and fun! I’m thinking my local Asian restaurant needs me! Aren’t they cute?😊

While making the dumplings, I thought back to a Thai nurses’ aide I knew when I worked at a Dallas hospital in my 20s. Such a LONG time ago. She was a nurse in Thailand but wasn’t certified in the U.S. Her nickname was Too Soon. She got that nickname because she always told the patients they were asking for their pain medication too soon! Ha! She taught me how to make several Thai recipes that I still make to this day. One of the recipes was Fried Won Ton with a spicy peanut dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was made primarily with ketchup, sugar, and water and of course, it was delicious. So I took her basic recipe and ketofied it. See the recipe below. So Too Soon these dumplings and dipping sauce were made in your honor today! 💕

Here’s the recipe for the dumplings and dough. This dough was great and very tender. It can be used to make so many things! Check out all the ideas on the website. I’m going to experiment more with it for sure! I changed the filling slightly to make it more like Too Soon’s. I left out the cabbage and added chopped shrimp. I wish I had used spicy breakfast sausage and not added vinegar or water. I then mixed the ingredients.

To make the dough, I thought a tortilla press would work well. It worked perfectly! I made little one-inch balls and placed them between two pieces of parchment paper and they came out perfect!

Here’s the tortilla press I used that I bought on Amazon. It comes in very handy and you can make tortillas, tortilla chips, and naan bread with this dough!

Here’s the recipe for Too Soon’s dipping sauce. I’m sure the recipe’s dipping sauce is very good with this also! You can make however much sauce you like, but I used equal parts water and granular Allulose. Whatever low-carb sweetener you like will work also. Just bring to a boil and add no sugar ketchup. I used G Hughes brand. I added about 3 tablespoons for 3/4 cup of sauce. Then I added red chili flakes and chopped peanuts and cooked for another minute or so. VERY close to Too Soon’s very sugary dipping sauce and tasted delicious on the dumplings.

I love this unbreakable Ramen set! It makes all your Asian dishes look so pretty! It comes with two bowls, chopsticks and rests, and dipping bowls. I use it all the time for Power Bowls and soups!
