Maria Emmerich makes her egg white bread in so many variations, but when I saw Hawaiian rolls I HAD to try it! I give her a lot of credit for her recipes because they were very good. We ARE talking one carb per roll, so they aren’t going to be as great as the carby ones, but these are a very good low-carb substitute. I didn’t have pineapple extract, but she said orange would work, so that’s what I used. You can make all kinds of things with this bread recipe too! My ice cream scoop didn’t work, so I just plopped some of the egg white mixtures down onto the parchment-lined baking sheet in the shape of a roll and they did pretty well!
