Spicy Keto Breakfast Bowl

This does not have to be spicy at all, I just made it that way. The original recipe was not spicy, so it’s whatever you like! I made some extra and I just warm up the spinach and sausage in the microwave and then just cook a fresh egg every day. A very quick and easy breakfast with a good veggie!


The original recipe called for chicken sausage, but I used jalapeño cheddar sausage, so whatever sausage you like!

Slice your sausage and cook it till browned, then remove from pan.

Then add some butter and a small chopped onion. I also added some chopped Serrano peppers, but that wasn’t in the original recipe. You could add whatever veggies you like to this, bell pepper, zucchini, or whatever sounds good to you.

Then add however much frozen chopped spinach you like and cook everything until the spinach is done. Season with whatever seasonings you like. I used seasoning salt and garlic powder. The seasoning salt I use has pepper and other spices in it.

Then in another pan fry an egg or two.

Put the sausage/spinach mixture in a bowl, and top with your cheese of choice. I used Pepper Jack, but the recipe called for mozzarella.

Then top with your eggs!
