I made this tonight, and it was fantastic. I had to play around with the ingredients for the marinade a little bit. It calls for lemongrass and Thai chiles. I didn’t have either, so I subbed with chopped jalapeños and had a dried Mexican chili. But if you can get the lemongrass and Thai chilies, that would be great. Add chopped garlic, fresh ginger, green onion, soy sauce, and olive oil to the marinade. Grind this up quickly with a blender or food processor. You don’t want it over-processed. Pour over a rib-eye steak and let marinate for an hour or so. Then grill or pan-fry. You can pour some additional soy sauce on when finished cooking.
