Keto Stuffed Hot Dogs

Shared by DeniseM

I’ve been eating hot dogs and sausages in different ways here lately. I try to find the healthiest ones I can without nitrates and sugar. These stuffed hot dogs are very simple to bake in the air fryer or on top of the stove. Just split the hot dog down the middle, but not all the way through. Lay strips of jalapeño and your favorite Mexican cheese. I’ll use Monterrey Jack or Pepper Jack most of the time, but Queso Fresco and other cheeses will work too. Then wrap in one slice of bacon. I sprinkle a little seasoning salt on top. Cook till the bacon looks done. These stuffed hot dogs are tasty bunless and you can place them in lettuce leaves or a low-carb tortilla with some mustard. You can make these ahead of time and they make a great snack also,
