I remember the days I thought I was so smart to buy several bags of Halloween candy two weeks ahead of time so I wouldn’t get stuck with all the yucky leftover candy to choose from at the last minute, like salt water taffy! Ha! I remember those giant bags filled with all this candy I would NEVER give out! I swear the kids check out what‘s in your candy basket. They can give very judgy looks! 😃 Here’s a graphic that shows the top ten WORST Halloween candy. I agree with it. If I waited too long to go candy shopping, I would get stuck with this! đŸ˜±

I always gave out the mini chocolate candy bars and what invariably would happen I would buy it two weeks ahead of time and have to go back to the store a week later because I ate all the Halloween candy! 😳 If you do decide to give out candy choose a candy you don’t like and that makes it easier to refrain from eating it. Well, I’m trying hard not to let this happen with candy I really like anymore and I also now know all the dangers of sugar so I feel very guilty handing it out to little children. So what to do? One year I told my son instead of candy I was going to hand out mini bottles of water. I would keep them nice and ice cold and thought that would be something tired and hot trick-or-treaters would find very refreshing! My son told me if I did that we would get our house egged!đŸ˜± I’m not sure on that, but I still think it’s a good idea. 💩

I’m thinking these photos below might be taking healthy a little too far! đŸ„ŠđŸ˜‚

Last year I played a little Keto Halloween prank on my great-nephews, Eli and Jude and filled their Halloween buckets with low carb veggies! Ha! But they soon discovered beneath all the veggies were some Halloween goodies. 😃

Meanwhile, my nephew and his black cat, Lucy, were visiting last Halloween. I love this photo! 🐈‍⬛

Here are some more ideas for things to hand out, instead of candy, and there won’t be bags of candy in the house calling out your name or leftover! 😊

I love glow in the dark things. These glow in the dark necklaces are a good safety feature keeping the kids visible at night and the kids love them!

Here are some other fun toys that kids will love and will keep your home egg free! 😄

I think most of those things would be less expensive than candy! Every year they are putting less and less in the bags and the candy is costing more and more! 😬

Here’s a great Diet Doctor video with Kristie Sullivan with more ways to handle Halloween and still stay on track! đŸ‘đŸŒ

Hope these tips help you to have an on-track, stress-free, Happy Hallowee!🎃
