I have been on a mission to clean out my low-carb closet! Yes, I have a low-carb closet because I have too many low-carb products, and it is FULL of things I should have used by now, but just didn’t. So many keto/low-carb things you have to buy in multiples and I would try one or two things and then stick the rest in the closet.🙄
This closet is haunting me because it’s there, and things have not been used. I’m so frugal that I can‘t just throw it all away, so I’m on a mission to deplete this closet greatly. One of the things that is in this closet the most, besides low-carb noodles, is different keto soups. A LOT of soup! 😳 I 🩷 soup!
This blog post will detail my vast, first-hand reviews of all this soup, and to do this, I have been eating soup for weeks now! 😱 This is the sacrifice I make to help others.😂 it has not been bad at all I’ve liked the break from cooking every day. I still have had some cooked food, but the vast majority has been these keto soups. And so far, there hasn’t been one I haven’t liked, that is a very good thing. I‘ve also liked the ease of preparing a meal. I have added some things to the soups, and I will detail that below. Still, I have looked forward to this quick, easy way of having a meal packed with all sorts of good ingredients, vitamins, and minerals, so I feel like I’m doing something healthy and a tremendous service to our country. 🇺🇸 I will show all the nutritional information so you will see how good just having a bowl of soup can be!🥣
KETO CHOW
The first soups I tried were from Keto Chow. You can see a packet of their Taco Soup on the second row of my closet. The Keto Chow soups come in packets of a powdered soup base that you add water to and also anything else that you would like in your soup, but they are good, just plain. I’ve used them both ways. When I had them plain, I did add some seasoning. I like spicy food, so I added some Dan O’s spicy seasoning. I also added some heavy cream powder. You certainly don’t have to use HWC powder, but I’ll run out of the fresh, so I like to have the powder on hand. I get nervous without HWC! Ha! I happen to like creamy, but that is certainly not necessary. It adds a little more fat. Butter would be another good option. I will also add another package of Lonolife bone broth sometimes to get more protein in. But I’ve used cooked veggies to add cooked protein like shredded chicken, chopped steak, hamburger meat, Italian sausage, pepperoni, breakfast sausage, or sliced sausage. Cheese is another thing to add that would be good, but I didn’t do that to keep calories down but to be honest, the soup is very good without the cheese! Anything you like to add to your soup! These soup bases can also be added to any existing soup recipes that you have to add flavor and nutrients.
There are so many good ingredients in the Keto Chow soups. All of which help you stay in Ketosis. 30 + vitamins and minerals, lots of great electrolytes, high protein with 25-35 grams of protein, and very low carb with 6-13 total carbs. You can adjust the fat and calories depending on the amount of fat you add. There are four different soup flavors. Beef, Savory Chicken, Tomato Basil, and Taco. I’m experimenting with several different recipes using these soup bases! So I, your intrepid soup reporter, will be reporting on those soon. I will also be reporting on the delicious Keto Chow shakes. They have similar nutritional ingredients as the soups do, and all the recipes that you can make with both the soups and shakes are mind-blowing! I’ve already started making some! So watch for those. 😊

KETTLE AND FIRE
Another one of the great keto soups I’ve been trying are by Kettle and Fire. I have previously reviewed them and I’m STILL eating them. At this point I won’t have to go grocery shopping until 2024, and I’m not kidding. The Kettle and Fire Soups are already prepared and just need to be warmed. I’ve really enjoyed all of them and they are made with excellent bone broth and I will even add an extra packet of bone broth to it. I’ll put the review below this one for Kettle and Fire so you can see what I’ve been using for bone broth to up my protein!👍🏼
PROPER GOOD
Proper Good definitely lives up to its name! These soups are delicious and they are ready to go, just heat and serve and one has little meatballs!😱 It’s hard to resist a good meatball! Here is my review of the Proper Good soups. Make sure you choose one of the keto flavors, not all of their soups are low carb. They also have a very good bone broth that is liquid and comes in a carton like the soups! 🥣
These are all the keto soups. Not all of their products are keto, so you just have to be careful and read the labels. 🍵
SKINNY PASTA CHICKEN FLAVOR NOODLE SOUP
This next soup combines my soup obsession with my noodle obsession! This, to me, is the expensive keto version of ramen noodles! This is NOT that fifty-cent cup of noodles, that’s for sure! But I suppose with all things keto, we pay for healthier, better quality ingredients that aren’t going to kill us like all the cheap, carby stuff! I’ve ordered this twice (comes with its own spork!) and just love it. It just hits the spot and is very filling with the noodles. My non-keto mom really liked it. So this is my review of this great cup o’ noodles! Maybe keep this handy for flu season, they say chicken noodle soup cures things or at least is good for the soul!🐓
LONO LIFE BONE BROTH
I have been on a clean-the-closet soup mission and a protein mission. My coach has thoroughly convinced me I’m not eating enough protein! Protein is the most vital macro because it helps build muscle, repairs tissue and just is so important to bodily functions, I’ve tried some bone broths in the past and just did not like them much at all. If I do t lime something, I’m not going to drink it, but that’s not the case with the Lono Life bone broth. It’s organic and bone broth is just very good for you. Maybe think of trying this instead of the bouillon cubes. Much better ingredients, but unfortunately more expensive. Do you see a running them here on healthy ingredients and cost? 🙄
Here’s my review of this tasty bone broth that I really like drinking! Four yummy flavors.😊
SkYLINE ORIGINAL CHILI
Is chii a soup?🤷♀️ Let’s just go with soup because this is not your typical chili and is really kind of soupy. I discovered this chili a long time ago, when I was doing low carb but not keto, and it’s very different! But I think now, it’s good different, but it took me a few tries to come to that conclusion. I really do like it very much now. And to go along with our expensive theme it is that! Almost $6 a can. I’m having great difficulty with that although it’s not really different from all the other soups. Why am I prejudiced against this chili? Ha! Anyway, here’s my review of it and if your grandmother dies and leaves you a nice inheritance, go buy some. 😂
These are the seasonings I’ve been using in the soups i like things very seasoned so I almost always add more, but you may find the soups fine as is. I love all of these seasonings, but I particularly like the spicy ones! 🌶️ Good, clean ingredients! 👍🏼
Here’s the link for the heavy cream powder I’ve been using in the soups and also coffee. It would be good in anything you would like heavy cream in. Take that back, maybe don’t try to make ice cream with it! Ha! It might be less expensive, not sure on that though. That requires more math than my brain is able to handle. I’m thinking I use less of the powder too. One other thing, it’s good to have on hand if you run out of fresh heavy cream. I use a frother to mix everything in the soups. 👍🏼
This is my post on this great little Hot Pot that I like to use to heat up all these great keto soups in. I 🩷 this Hot Pot. Heats up to boiling in about 60 seconds. Great for the office or travel!
This is all the soup I’ve uncovered in my vast, cavernous, low-carb closet. If I uncover anything else I’ll be sure to do an update. Or if anyone else knows of a keto soup that needs reviewing please let me know! But with fall here now, I hope you can cozy up with a great bowl of keto soup! 🥣🍁
Wishing you good health and happiness 🩷

To make the cute bowl of Monster Mash soup with eyeballs for Halloween, just go here, and instead of rice, substitute the sushi rice with cooked cauliflower rice. Add a small amount of cream cheese to it so it will hold together, salt and pepper, garlic powder, or any seasonings you like. Then just cut the black circles out of sheets of Nori like the recipe describes. There are pumpkin soups here on virtworks for an orange soup to use, or an easy red Tomato Basil soup is just heavy cream added to Rao’s marinara sauce, or use some of the great ready made soups described in this blog post! 👀
